Head of Field Sales - Off Trade Drinks

This is one of the biggest brand names in drinks. A young, vibrant and dynamic company, they are looking for a Head of Field Sales to spearhead their distribution throughout the off trade. Often seen as a creative and quirky company, their globally recognised brand has a major presence in the both the on and off trade. They require people that have bright ideas, are positive, entrepreneurial and enthusiastic. This is an autonomous, creative position working with a high profile FMCG brand; opportunities like this are extremely rare.
This role will sit on the Management Team for the UK Off Trade for this exciting drinks organisation. The key focus of the role will be to devise and deliver the off trade field sales strategy and ensure the successful execution of this. You will be responsible for 6 direct reports and indirectly an additional 55 throughout the UK. As well as the above, the key strands to this role include Leadership, Business Planning and Budget and Agency Management.
You must have experience of managing large field sales team within an FMCG environment. Experience of working in the drinks industry is an advantage but certainly not a necessity. An experienced leader with gravitas is a must and a proven track record of devising and implementing field sales strategies is extremely important in this role. The role is home based, however, you will be expected to travel to team meetings and into the office when required.
