National Account Manager - Sainsbury’s – Global Branded Food Business

As market leaders in their category, my client turnover c. £450m and have a presence across the globe. The iconic brand provides great tasting, easy to prepare, nutritious food that is good value and consumed by millions of people every day. As a business, they have an incredibly people focused culture making them different to the usual blue chip environment, where progression is on offer for anyone who proves themselves. Due to an internal promotion, they are looking to add a National Account Manager to the team.
As National Account Manager you will be responsible for an area of the Sainsbury’s account operating across a selection of product categories. Some of your tasks will be:
- Negotiation of annual business plan with key customer contact(s)
- Introduction of NPD
- Gaining distribution of core products
- Negotiation of annual promotional plan
- Regular & joint customer reviews of performance against agreed plan targets
- Internal management of investment programme
- Annual business plan (budgeted volume & profit)
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must be at either National Account Executive National Account Management level working in a branded, FMCG business and have a proven track record of improving profitability. Foodservice/Convenience experience would be considered. You must be dynamic, passionate and keen to progress your career in a business that is constantly growing.
