The Retail Team is responsible for bringing our engineering, technology and products to life through our retail partnerships; increasing brand awareness, brand advocacy and driving conversion. Our aim is to create inspired and highly differentiated consumer experiences that amplify the pioneering technology we make.
This role will be based in the GB Sales team and will report into the Sales Director, as part of their senior leadership team.
As the Head of Retail you will lead the retail execution and sales growth across the UK. This is a senior role which requires you to engage and empower a direct reporting structure of four Divisional Sales Managers, a National Beauty Retail Manager and an Operations Manager. You will coach these leaders to ensure their teams execute the retail strategy in their business areas, having overall responsibility for a team of over 300 including the management structure and Dyson Experts.
The role will rely on the ability to manage key stakeholders effectively across a matrix organisation through developing outstanding relationships with others. You will develop strategies that support the successful launches of NPD, continually seeking opportunities to be the first to do things and be best in class, including driving efficiencies for the long term success of our retail presence.
As our product portfolio becomes more complex our retail landscape must transform in order to deliver the vision of our Dyson’s ambitions growth targets. Transformational change will call for true leadership and resilience. Your mission is to drive consumer experience and efficiency of return for our infrastructure landscape. This role will require strong operational capability to draw insight and action to enable the team to react at pace to trends as well as pro-actively shaping future activity.
With our ambitious growth plans we need people who can grow at pace with us. This role will have a national coverage however you will be required to be based in Malmesbury on a regular basis two or three times a week. The Retail Team is a 24/7 and therefore your presence across the team will be required on a regular basis.
