Purchasing Manager - Non-Foods
A market leader in the catering and hospitality space are seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to join their established buying team.
You'll be joining a market leading business, going through a period of expansion, investing into new locations and sites. You'll be surrounded by an established and stable team, with strong subject matter expertise and market awareness.
Created as a result of internal movement, this role will be responsible for key non-foods and catering categories, including kitchenware, tabletops and stationery. You will be targeted on finding opportunities for savings and consolidation of the existing supplier base, as well as strategic sourcing projects for new requirements.
The business is opening new locations on a constant basis, so marketing and promotional materials will often be required.
You should expect to work with finance, operations and marketing to managing internal relationships and set business priorities.
You'll be comfortable independently managing your time and working away from the office when required. You will need to demonstrate high organisational abilities, with the willingness to change priorities in line with business requirements.
You will come from a restaurant, foodservice, retail, hotel or hospitality buying background, ideally with some experience of purchasing catering supplies.
