About the Role:
This role will enable you to use your sales, business development and management experience to great affect. Our client is looking for an experienced commercial professional to head up the Commercial team. Experience in trading to distributors and caterers would be a great asset. You will be able to identify opportunities for business development and sales improvement. You will have a track record of assessing sales and questioning who/what you are selling rather than selling for the sake of selling. You will be able to use your experience in developing and executing a sales strategy and improve sales performance.
The ideal candidate will have an excellent track record of commercial results. You will be able to show your sales results as well as the results of the teams that you have managed. You will be strategic and have an eye for detail and potential improvements.
To be considered for this role you must, as a minimum, have a track record as a commercial professional within the food industry.
