Sales Manager for UK & Ireland - Watches

Location - Home based in the United Kingdom

My client are a distribution company for a well-known luxury watch brand in Europe. My client nurtures talent, supports each individual’s development and reward personal performance. All this helps us to not only ensure business success but also add value to a person`s individual career.

Due to a re structure, my client are in a position to recruit a Sales Manager for the UK and Ireland. As Sales Manager you will represent the brand in the UK dealing with Key accounts such as Harrods and Selfridges along with independent retailers.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Representing the brand to local jewellers, retailers and key accounts across the United Kingdom and Ireland
  • Actively develop existing distribution and new client base, taking the selective distribution guidelines into account
  • Establish and cultivate strong customer relationships
  • Professional Key Account Management
  • Implementation and execution of marketing and sales initiatives to promote sell-out (trainings, events, visual merchandising)
  • Ensure all products and displays are merchandised effectively to maximize sales and profitability
  • Monitor sell-out activity and ensure proper assortments are being represented at each point of sale
  • Close collaboration and interaction with back office departments, like sales administration, marketing and accounting
  • Weekly reporting on sales and customer visits

Skill Set:

  • Proven track record within field sales of luxury watches
  • You should be confident, outgoing and be comfortable presenting a well-known brand of watches to our customers
  • As the single representative of the brand in UK & Ireland, you should thrive in pressure situations, consistently work to meet your sales targets and be prepared to go above and beyond the call of duty, including occasional weekend events, as and when required
  • Good interpersonal credibility with the customer and be able to handle objections
  • Good planning and organizational skills and ability to work on own initiative
  • Proficient written and oral skills in English, German would be an advantage
  • Excellent MS-Office knowledge, UK driver’s license and eligible to work in the UK
