Area Sales Manager
Our client is well- known for their extensive ranges of home and lifestyle products .
Selling to many of the UK’s leading high street, departmental and independent retailers they have an enviable reputation for customer service.
They are currently looking for a dynamic, self- motivated Area Sales Manager to manage and develop their Midlands territorycovering both the East and West Midlands.
You will be responsible for managing existing and developing new business. Selling to cookshops, independent retailers and garden centres you must be able to create new leads to continually grow your area. You should have strong journey planning and territory development skills as well as the ability to plan ranges for your customers.
You should have strong presentation and communication skills together with a ‘can-do’ approach. You must be a self- starter able to work on your own initiative and be driven and motivated to achieve sales and distribution targets, maximising product sell-in and identifying opportunities for product sales training.
Preference will be given to candidates with a background in field sales gained in the FMCG non-food arena ideally housewares, giftware or similar with a proven track record of sales success.
You will be results oriented and have the ability to manage and develop a diverse customer base. You will be highly organised with a desire to grow with the company and create lasting relationships with key customers in your area.
The successful candidate must live on the territory.
