Account Manager | Fresh Produce | Progressive
Our client, based in the East Midlands, is a well known and progressive fresh produce business, supplying innovative products to the major retailers. An opportunity has come up within the business, for an established Account Manager to join the team, managing one of their key accounts.
Working closely with the retail buyer to ensure a joined up approach to managing the account.
Exploring any potential opportunities within the fixture to improve promotion's and/or sales opportunities.
Understanding the various functions within the business, in order to make informed, effective decisions.
Will have an account management background, managing major retailers ideally within fresh produce/horticulture, but definitely with short shelf life experience.
Must have strong negotiation skills with a drive to push business forward.
Will have a resilient attitude, in order to succeed within this challenging yet rewarding environment.
