Due to impressive growth figures, my client are now in a position to add a Key Account Manager/Business Development Manager to their sales team. The company are a British Luxury eyewear brand with a reputation as an iconic and innovative brand who pride themselves on the finest Italian craftsmanship. The brand has stores in the UK, North America and Canada.

As Key Account Manager/Business Development Manager you will inherit a portfolio of Fashion and Key Accounts and be expected to develop the account turnover working towards monthly targets. There will also be an element of new business development with this role. The successful candidate will be expected to be office based in London when not out with customers or attending trade shows.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop trust relationships with a portfolio of major clients in the optical and fashion industry
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously proposing solutions that meet their objectives
  • Ensure the correct products and services are delivered to customers in a timely manner
  • Serve as the link of communication between key customers and internal & external teams
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in generating new sales that will turn into long-lasting relationships
  • Prepare regular reports of progress and forecasts to internal and external stakeholders using key account metrics

Requirements for the Role:

  • Proven experience in Key Account Management and/or Business Development Manager
  • Experience in sales and providing solutions based on customer needs within a Fashion/Eyewear/Luxury Goods industry or other closely related industries.
  • Highly self-motivated and goal driven individual with ability to work in a cosmopolitan team
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with aptitude in building relationships with professionals of all organizational levels
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability in problem-solving and negotiation
  • Basic Excel and computing
