Location: Supernews Local, Knaresborough (HG5 8AL)
Salary: £15,470 per annum + Bonus

The James Retail Group is looking for a highly motivated Assistant Manager whose principal responsibility will be to assist the Store Manager in driving sales and maximising profitability and growth in-store. You will support the Store Manager in leading a team; ensuring maximum potential is achieved in line with Company standards. You will have accountability for stock, cash, merchandising, and in the absence of the Store Manager, will supervise the running of the store.
You will be required to be flexible with your working week to cover the store opening hours of Monday to Sunday, between the hours of 05:00am and 17:30pm, working 5 days out of 7 each week. In order to perform your role as Assistant Manager, you will receive an in-depth training plan with exceptional learning and development opportunities.
As an Assistant Manager, you must be results driven, meticulous, and above all, possess excellent communication skills to be able to deliver the first-rate customer service that is recognised in the community.
