I am currently working with a global wine business that has a strong portfolio of brands, many of which have won globally recognised awards. Beginning as a family business, they have grown rapidly over the past 10years and now have the ability and ambition to continue and develop on this success. Their expanding portfolio has great distribution in the Off Trade with their flagship brand being instantly recognisable. They are now looking for an ambitious individual to take on the role of Key Account Manager.
As Key Account Manager you will have full P&L responsibility of a number of National Accounts in the Cash & Carry channel. In addition to the accounts you directly manage you will also support the Senior National Account Manager on the larger accounts. Within your role you will look to grow sales through an already existing portfolio of accounts in addition to spotting gaps in the market. This is a cross functional role, with involvement to many different aspects of the business – so an autonomous individual is required.
To be considered for this excellent opportunity you must have experience in dealing with National Accounts – this could be from an existing National Account Manager role or alternatively you could be a National Account Executive looking to take a step into a role with full P&L responsibility. Although it would be desirable for you to have experience of the wine industry, applications from individuals from any FMCG branded business are also considered. We are seeking an ambitious individual with the desire to progress in a growing company, and the ambition to ‘hit the ground running’ in the role.
