Site Manager

Our client is a leading name in the Food and FMCG sector and one of the largest suppliers of their kind in the UK. Due to continuing growth they are looking for an experienced and driven General Manager to run one of their largest operations in the UK.

The role:
* Full P+L responsibility for the day to day managing and trading of a busy food operation, managing procurement, trading stock control and logistics.
* Maximising the sales and profitability of the business by managing existing customer relationships as well as introducing new initiatives to grow the business and develop new business opportunities.
* Managing, motivating and developing the team in the achievement of all operational and financial targets.
* Leading a diverse team through periods of change and growth.

The candidate:
* Ideally experienced in trading and procuring within the FMCG industry, with P+L responsibility.
* Experience in running a busy FMCG operation including vehicles, customers, management of a sales team etc.
* Proven management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff through delegation and training.
* Good communication skills, combined with strong sales and business development abilities.
* Excellent organisational skills.
