National Account Manager, leading brand

Up to £45,000 + bonus

West London

We are excited to be working with a leading brand who supplies their trend-driven ranges to thousands of leading international retailers from UK national accounts such as John Lewis, Selfridges and Urban Outfitters to international retailers such as Walmart, El Corte Inglés and Galeries Lafayette.

They are looking for an experienced National Account Manager to sit within their UK team. You will have experience of managing £1m+ business with UK national accounts and have a passion for retail and delivering an excellent product and service.

Your role as National Account Manager will include:

  • Manage a portfolio of UK retail accounts
  • Visit the Buyers at their head offices to discuss account performance and new product ideas
  • Input in to the development of new products with the product development team
  • Liaise with the product developers and design team on own brand development
  • Keep customers updated with the progress of products
  • Full account management responsibility
  • Negotiation of costs and terms
  • Attending trade shows

The successful National Account Manager will have:

  • 3+ years’ experience of working as a Key or National Account Manager
  • Experience of working with major national accounts
  • Some experience of working on own brand development would be ideal but not essential
  • A thorough understanding of the commercials of account management including margins, mark-ups and trading terms
  • Impeccable organisation and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, high levels of motivation and keenness to help.
  • Be computer literate and confident using MS Office.
  • Excellent English.
