SAP HCM Analyst

Location: Łódź

We are looking for a SAP HCM Analyst to join our organisation based in our Shared Service Centre. 
The candidate will join a team of SAP HCM professionals providing primary support for McCormick’s North America or European businesses.


  • Primary support for HR and Global Payroll functions in an SAP environment. (MOVED TO TOP OF THE LIST)
  • Formulating and defining complex information systems, including scope and objectives through research, analysis, testing and fact finding. 
  • Evaluating and developing reliable and efficient solutions for complex business requirements.
  • Acting as first level contact for any inquiries including systems support, improvement analyses, and advice.
  • Defining system requirements in collaboration with project delivery teams and business partners, creating detailed functional specifications, delivering system configuration, unit testing, integration testing, user acceptance and deployment.
  • Participating in Comprehensive Continuous Improvement (CCI) program through bringing innovative ideas, appropriately challenging existing processes, aiming at global consistency.
  • Generating ideas for IT products and services that provide realistic and tangible business benefit, and gain business partners support.
  • Supporting preparation of development of training materials and provide training to power users.


  • You are an excellent English speaker (French language skills would be beneficial but not essential)
  • You have experience working with HR and Payroll processes in Europe or North America
  • You are able to be autonomous but also able to work in a remote team
  • You are available for international travel
  • You are an experienced HCM Analyst and have knowledge of some or all of the following HCM Functions
  • Time management

o    SAP’s Cross Application Time Sheet (CATS), and Time Management Module 
o    automated time collection devices 
o    time schemas and rules 
o    work with Paid Time Off or Quota 

  • Accounting

o    Pay Results and Payroll Schemas 
o    Factors that impact pay for the various classes of employees
o    payroll taxes
o    Impact of employee absences or other approved time off and its effects on employee pay
o    Knowledge of  the various payroll deductions
o    Experience with Electronic Funds Transfer, Direct Deposit and Positive Pay processes 

  • Personnel Administration

o    Experience with both management and non-management employees using SAP transactions PA10, PA20 and PA30
o    Experience with new hires and rehires, separations and retirements, as well as all types of employee status changes 
o    Knowledge of systems interfaces and reporting requirements

  • Benefits Management 

o    Enrolment change procedures
o    Understanding of benefits plans including Health, Savings, Stock, Credit
o    Understanding of eligibility requirements
o    Understanding of Vendor and data interfaces
