Great opportunity to join a branded business!

I'm looking for a Senior Category Manager to lead the IT Services category across a leading branded FMCG business. You'll lead the implementation of best practice procurement and provide the consistency of supply and a competitive edge. You'll implement category strategies that will have an impact on the bottom line whilst developing supplier relationships that will meet the ever changing needs of this business. Working closely with senior IT stakeholders and the wider procurement function you'll drive change and service improvements with the ultimate goal of getting more value for less money.

This role is a critical one for the business giving an experienced IT procurement professional the opportunity to make a real impact at the forefront of this International business. It's a hugely challenging role requiring someone with a real depth of IT procurement experience gained within an FMCG business. First class communication skills are essential along with real evidence of your great stakeholder and supplier relationship management skills. You'll be driven, hugely commercially aware with excellent negotiation skills and recent experience of driving through procurement transformation and change.
