Title: Senior Purchasing Manager
Salary: up to £45,000 depending on experience

Our client is a manufacturer and supplier of a range of tableware and packaging products sold to the professional catering and retail markets. They are widely recognized as an innovative and dynamic business which regularly brings new products to the market and is a leading player in this sector.
Reporting to the Purchasing Director you will play a crucial supporting role in this dynamic procurement team and will deliver leadership and training to a small team of purchasing staff.
This is a varied role which requires excellent interdepartmental communication as well as regular supplier contact.
Among other duties you will be responsible for demand planning, forecasting, global supplier relations and reviews, factory audits, stock analysis and report writing, price negotiation, communicating specification changes, staff training and appraisals, stock optimization.
We are looking for candidates who are able to demonstrate:
- Experience in purchasing/buying roles;
- Proven team leadership skills;
- Excellent analytic and report writing skills;
- Confident communication style with internal and external stakeholders;
- Flexibility to travel globally as required.
