Due to a recent restructure within the business, an opportunity has now become available to join one of the fastest growing companies in their particular industry as an Area Sales Manager.

The client I am working with on this position is recognised as one of Europe’s most trusted brands in their field and has been supplying a premium product range across the continent for the last 10 years. With an innovative product range that has been described as ‘ground breaking’ within the industry and have celebrated award wins on the back of their exclusive designs. With the recent success and the huge period of growth the company is currently going through, they are now looking for an experienced Area Sales Manager to help grow the independent sector in the South East.

As the South East Area Sales Manager you will be inheriting the best performing region for the company. You will be expected to nurture, grow and develop the existing accounts within the territory, maximising the potential of each account and highlighting opportunities for store training and promotional activities to help drive sales. There will also be targets and strong incentives based around proactively opening new accounts within the territory. Traveling across the region, meeting with existing and prospect customers is a major aspect of the role ensuring that you uphold a strong reputation within the area.

To be considered for this position you will already be working as an Area Sales Manager across the South East within the homeware industry. Experience selling in to independent furniture stores is key along with a strong network across the region. Excellent communication skills are essential as well as the ability to work autonomously, quickly build rapport and create strong relationships with existing and prospect customers. An excellent track record of building and developing a territory within the homeware industry is vital.
