Job Description

Chopstix Noodle Bar is a rapidly growing Oriental quick-service restaurant chain with over 65 sites across the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland. To support this positive growth and development Chopstix is looking for an energetic and results driven Area Supervisor or Manager who is looking to make the next step in their career to an Operations Manager who has a passion for people and processes.  Together with the Operations Director you will optimise and improve the operational procedures in place and ensure all relevant documents and manuals are up to date. The Operations Manager will actively support the franchise estate and rollout program from pre-launch training and launch support to regular liaison and auditing.

The Operations Manager will also be supporting a team of Area Supervisors to ensure that each of their respective territory is operating to standard. Together with the Area Supervisors the work would include the management and correct implementation of all site operations, compliance to health and safety laws, staff learning and development, overall restaurant performance and delivery of great customer service.

An essential responsibility will be monitoring and achieving profit and sales targets through identification and implementation of process improvements that will increase sales, customer satisfaction and profitability. Experience in the quick service restaurant industry and analysing of profit and loss figures will be required. The Operations Manager will under supervision of the Operations Director and together with the Area Supervisors be responsible for the management and training of restaurant staff and human resources policies.    

You will have strong problem solving and decision making skills and be an assertive team player who is proficient in Microsoft packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint. You will be a good presenter, comfortable presenting to audiences of all levels with attention to detail. You will need to be comfortable working weekends and bank holidays.
