My client has been delivering outstanding results for their clients for over 5 years now - and they are looking for people who will be able to drive their existing client accounts to new heights straight away.

As a National Sales Manager, you will grow pre-booked sales through an increase in national account business across multiple sites and brands by managing, leading, training, motivating and strategizing the ‘Restaurant Group Bookings’ Team. (a team of 6 reservationists) who sit under the Restaurant Group Bookings Brand. The role will require excellent people management, motivational, training and commercial skills 

What is it?

•     Responsible for managing the entire RGB department, drive pre-bookings via National accounts across multiple sites and brands


•     Manage, motivate, mentor, train, lead and inspire a team of 6


•     Increase revenue of all existing national accounts across all brands


•     Commercially and tactically place business into brands/sites considering trading periods


•     Create, present and execute a quarterly business plan, detailing clear targets, KPIs and objectives


•     Attend and present at Board Meetings to announce successes and sales figures, as and when required


•     Work closely with Heads of Marketing and the Operators on what is required to drive National Sales for the group 


•     Constantly identify opportunity for RGB


•     Work closely with the Marketing Teams and the Exec Chef on all group/party menus and any product development moving forward


•     Ensure the needs of each brand are met and challenges overcome with speed and efficiency


•     Understand each individual area and how we can maintain consistency of projects and standards across the estate


•     Identify and affect the roll out of a standard of practice for all initiatives and aspects of the sales role


•     Liaise with Marketing Teams – ensure that sales campaigns and marketing campaigns are linked for maximum effect


•     Be the face of the RGB brand, both internally and externally. Be creative, passionate and positive in their interaction with venue management, the wider team, and related areas of the business such as Marketing and Operations


•     Attend relevant Networking events in Central London to build a corporate client portfolio. Suggest other ways to gain new contacts and form key relationships


•     Pro-actively build and manage the most important client base (top 10) and ensure excellent delivery of events for such clients


•     Continually look to innovate and improve the sales department by considering new initiatives and ways to improve processes etc.


•     Plan effectively for successful delivery of the crucial Christmas business targets and all other marketing calendar events


•     Understand the sales team steps of service and customer response times and maintain the highest of customer service standards always.


•     Help to incorporate a sales culture into the RGB brand across all departments




Who Are You?




  • Passion for customer service & sales (proactive).
  • Previous experience managing teams of reservationists and booking agents essential
  • Extensive knowledge of Excel, Word, Office and PowerPoint & able to present confidently
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible regarding hours, networking events are part of the job
  • Happy with some travel
  • Confident with P&L, budgets & forecasting
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills (phone, in person, email).
  • Personal drive and motivation.
  • Team player, positive, dynamic, bright, energetic and outgoing personality.
