The Company:

My client are an innovative business who pride themselves on their excellent product range of Home Fragrance including Aroma Diffusers and Oil Lamps. The company have an ambitious growth plan to get to £10m in turnover over the next 3 years. The compan6y have grown by £1m in the last 12 months and have doubled the workforce. Due to significant growth figures, my client are now in a position to add a Field Sales Account Executive to their team.

The Opportunity:

A great opportunity has arisen for a smart, dynamic and charismatic Field Sales Professional to join our dedicated and hard-working team. You will be joining a successful and ambitious company that distributes its brands across United Kingdom and Ireland through well-known high street retail accounts. The company has set an ambition plan for growth for the future which includes expansion into overseas markets and exploring several new routes to market for its brands within UK and Europe.

The Role:

  • You will be responsible for developing profitable and sustainable new and key account business within a fast paced environment. 
  • With proven sales skills, you will be able to influence strategically targeted customers and to establish and maintain long-term partnerships which lead to strong sale conversion rates.
  • You will be able to quickly adapt to a new environment with our brands and client base effectively and be able to build new long lasting client relationships.
  • Regular travel will be an integral part of this role. Overseas travel for the right individual.

What we seek:

  • A confident, hard-working, high-calibre sales professional with an excellent knowledge of the UK & Ireland Homeware Retail Sectors
  • A proven track record in business development within the FMCG sectors. A minimum of 3 years’ experience of generating new business preferably within Home Fragrance, Home Accessories and/or Aromatherapy, (although experience in other sectors will be considered).
  • Demonstrable business to business sales experience working within a targeted sales environment dealing directly with customers and working towards deadlines/targets.
  • A natural ability to build lasting and rewarding customer relationships.
  • A professional manner, with excellent presentation, communication and negotiation skills with the ability to sell at all decision-making levels.
  • Excellent time management skills that allow you to manage your own diary effectively as well as being pro-active in prospecting, client networking and workload management.
  • Self-motivated and results-orientated team player that can exceed goals and revenue expectations, with the ability to work on own initiative.
  • You will provide timely reports and analysis where required and be able to demonstrate products and services to clients. 
  • An outgoing and lively personality is a must for this role and a passion for home fragrance would be beneficial.

Key Attributes:

  • IT literate, including highly proficient knowledge Of Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook.
  • UK Driving Licence
  • Personal drive, tenacity and energy with a positive outlook and a ‘can-do’ attitude
