Catman jobs is looking to recruit a Junior Category Manager for an expanding business based in East Yorkshire.
The Business
Operating as an autonomous business within a well known UK Group, this FMCG business is expanding due to phenomenal success within the category, due to strong product development and commercial management. The business now seeks a junior category manager, responsible for accounts with the Top 5 retailers.
The Role
The individual will initially take responsibility for some of the smaller accounts within the portfolio and in time develop experience across all of the major multiples. To fulfil this role, the individual will be required to provide thorough category insights and relay that information effectively to customers. It is essential the individual can distinguish between customer, consumer and shopper insights to produce effective findings.
The Person
With a background in FMCG category management to an executive/assistant/analyst level, preferably within a food environment, you will be looking to take a step up from your current role and will be keen to see what difference you can make within the business. You will want your insights to be heard and implemented and will have the tenacity and drive to see this happen.
