National Account Manager - Wholesale

Home based, HQ in Surrey

The role

A leading branded dairy business is seeking an ambitious national account manager to manage their wholesale portfolio of customers. They will happily consider someone stepping up from NAE or Junior Account Management levels or an established National Account Manager. Candidates must have exposure to the wholesale channel.

This will suit someone who is a self-starter as the role is home based, with 1 - 2 days in the office. The brands are strong with one of them being #1 in their category.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, negotiating and executing JBP's, understanding category data and influencing key stakeholders internally & externally.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
  • Commercial National Account Management or Retail Buying experience from a food manufacturer
  • Wholesale experience is essential
  • P&L management & accountability
  • Ability to influence & manage senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, as well as supply chain forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills
