An exciting opportunity to join one of the UK’s leading fresh produce producers as Foodservice Category Insight Manager has arisen. With a glowing reputation across the industry, they have well established trading relationships across Retail, Foodservice, and Wholesale channels. The business specialises in the sourcing, supplying and delivering fresh exotic fruit and speciality vegetables.
From two sites the business currently turnover £150m. The highest quality of services is maintained with re-investment in farming, people and production facilities. Additionally, their global integrated partnerships ensure a smooth supply of quality produce all year round.
At the heart of the business is a key focus on delivering commercially sustainable solutions with communities and the local environment in mind. Following significant business growth they are now seeking a Category Insight Manager to join the team.
Role
As a Category Insight Manager, you will be responsible for providing tangible data and insight both internally across multiple teams as well as externally with your customers. You will follow market trends and understand customer demands, using insights from Kantar, Neilson and Dunnhumby to influence business decisions.
The role reports into the Directors and offers a autonomous working environment. Working closely with the commercial team you will be required to provide insights in line with the business strategy.
Requirements
The successful candidate for this position will be currently working for an insights position either for a food manufacturer or a data/insights business. You will also possess a passion and appreciation for food. The role is office based from their site in North West London.
