National Account Manager

The company:  

The company is a dynamic, fun and young business who have very recently broken into all Top 4 UK Retailers. They have a strong brand and a range of products that they intend to develop in the long term and continue to push through both the UK market and internationally. They are looking to appoint a NAM who is smart, enthusiastic, engaging and collaborative to manage their Retail and OOH channel. This role will genuinely be an excellent opportunity for a candidate who wants to mould a role as and how they wish.

The Role:  

  • Commercial strategy development and deployment of all product categories in Grocery and OOH including full profit and loss responsibility
  • Developing JBPs with senior buyers 
  • Working with Marketing to develop the strongest possible customer marketing plans
  • Utilising customer systems to maximise our sales
  • Design of bespoke shopper marketing programmes responsible for consumer penetration and conversion 

The candidate:

  • The candidate must have gained experience with working with one of the Top 5 Grocery retailers within FMCG having either taken full P+L of smaller accounts or supporting the relationship with larger accounts 
  • IT Literate
  • A passion for selling and comfortable with negotiating with senior buyers
  • Excellent communication skills 
  • Good with numbers and the ability to analyse data sets
