Business Development Manager/Account Executive

The commercial sales and marketing division of Exsurgo is recruiting a Business Development/Account Executive position for an innovative snacking company based in London. This is an office based role with time spent at head office with customers, in the field winning new business and at national and international trade shows.

With the opportunity to get in involved in every aspect of business development in the UK and internationally, this position offers a genuinely attractive opportunity for a capable professional to take the next step in their career.

 

The Role

As well as growing sales from the existing customer base, the role involves identifying potential new customers, developing point of sale materials and providing feedback to support marketing and product development.

This is a fast-paced role involving account management and business development, liaising with existing and potential customers, tradeshows & exhibitions, and face to face presentations.

 

The Candidate

  • Coming from a food or drink business, the ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a commercially focussed positon;
  • You must prove adaptability, as this role involves a huge range of responsibilities;
  • Enthusiasm, resilience and determination are just a few personality traits you should have;
  • Educated to degree level – ideally 2:2 or above.

 

The Package

  • £24,000 - £30,000;
  • Bonus.
