National Account Manager - Foodservice

Home based, HQ in Surrey

The role

A leading branded dairy business is seeking an ambitious national account manager to manage their foodservice customer brands & portfolio of customers. They will happily consider someone stepping up from NAE or Junior Account Management levels or an established National Account Manager.

This will suit someone who is a self-starter as the role is home based, with 1 - 2 days in the office. The brands are strong with one of them being #1 in their category.

The successful candidate will be responsible for building, negotiating and executing JBP's, understanding category data and influencing key stakeholders internally & externally.

The person

To be successful in this role it is essential that you have the following experience/skills:
  • Commercial National Account Management or Retail Buying experience from a food manufacturer
  • Foodservice experience is essential
  • P&L management & accountability
  • Ability to influence & manage senior stakeholders
  • Good understanding of financial metrics, as well as supply chain forecasting
  • Excellent communication skills
