Account Controller (Senior National Account Manager) – Food & Drink Company in South East England – Excellent package

My brief is for a leading company in the European market for healthy and sustainable food & drink. They have a single-minded focus on health, nutrition and organic food, which is both for people and good for the environment. Operating across a number of categories they have a portfolio of well-loved brands and hold a strong trading position having delivered double-digit sales growth in 2016!

One of their brands is worth c£15m RSV and they are looking for an Account Controller to manage all top 4 grocers. It is a relatively unique position where you are responsible for developing, shaping and implementing the sales strategy for the brand to ensure sustainable growth across all customers. Not only this but you will have a big part in the future development of the brand so this role is as close to managing your own business as you may find - a true Commercial Management role.  

We expect you will be classically trained and be able to demonstrate a track record of success within the major Grocers. You will be highly commercial, with strong negotiation skills and a results focus. You will be a strategic thinker, with a strong understanding of Category and Shopper Marketing and be comfortable operating at a Senior Level.
