An exciting opportunity has come about for a Demand Planning Manager to join a FMCG Food business based in the Northamptonshire area. This is a great opportunity for an experienced demand planning professional to ensure that the 18 month robust rolling forecast is delivered and communicated to the business

As their next Demand Planning Manager you will be responsible for motivating and developing a team of planners whilst focusing on shaping and engaging with your customer whilst delivering and effective Supply Chain strategy.

Other responsibilities will include;
  • Responsible for managing rolling S&OP week 1 to 13
  • Collaborative demand planning for base and events with full accountability of customer supply chain KPI's
  • To lead forecast meetings with the commercial teams and reviewing performance to improve forecast accuracy
  • To drive best practice and to look for improvement of ways of working by conducting high levels of analysis
  • To build and develop strong relationships with customers supply chain & lead regular review meetings whilst driving service right through to shelf
  • To support the business and to work on ad-hoc supply chain projects
  • To develop effective ways of working with key stakeholders including factory management and supply planning teams in order to improve the supply chain effectiveness


The Demand Planning Manager will posses the following;
  • Degree educated or equivalent working experience
  • Previous experience in a customer facing demand planning role
  • Previous experience of working within an FMCG environment
  • Experience of dealing with the Top grocer's and knowledge of retailers systems
  • Excellent stakeholder management & the ability to influence at all levels
  • Strong analytical skills with ability with intermediate level of excel/ SAP desired
  • Performance driven with previous experience of continuous improvement projects
  • Ability to multitask, prioritise and consistently achieve tight deadlines
