National Account Manager: Homewares
Location: North West / West Yorkshire
The Role:
A highly driven and ambitious National Account Manager is required by an innovative and well established supplier of quality home furnishings.
This fantastic opportunity will involve selling a wide range of design led products including cushions, rugs, chairs and fabrics into high street retailers, department stores and homewares retailers throughout the UK.
You will inherit a portfolio of existing National retail accounts, as well as being responsible for pro-actively identifying and opening new major retail clients. Having full P&L responsibility you will work closely with your clients to forge long term relationships, conduct range reviews, develop bespoke client specific ranges, create and implement JBP's, identify growth opportunities and achieve the agreed sales and profit targets across your accounts.
Successful applicants will need recent experience in selling homewares, soft furnishings or similar into national retail accounts.

Our client is a well established, innovative supplier of a range of quality home furnishings. Due to restructure they are looking to appoint a new National Account Manager with a proven track record in delivering growth to join their sales team.
Essential Requirements:
- Recent experience in selling homewares, soft furnishings or similar into National retailers.
- Demonstrable track record in achieving sales growth with both new and existing clients.
- Excellent account management skills.
- Strong new business winner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Creative.
- Pro-active with strong level of drive.
- Highly personable and able to deal effectively with people across all levels.
- Positive and enthusiastic approach.
- Stable career background.
Package:
Basic Salary: £40,000-£45,000
Commission: £50,000-£55,000 OTE
