Reporting directly to the CEO, the Junior National Account Manager - Toys will provide a supportive function to the larger accounts whilst developing and managing the high street retail and department store channel.

The Junior National Account Manager - Toys incorporates a lot of responsibility of which includes;
  • Increasing sales across existing Key Accounts
  • Developing rapport with clients to increase sales.
  • Identifying new business opportunities and developing such on a national level.
  • Providing hands on support to the CEO on major accounts
  • Implementing promotions on a national level in association with the marketing department
  • Stock control and monitoring
  • Sales tracking and competitor monitoring to identifying new opportunities
  • Achieving KPI's agreed with the CEO
  • Sales planning and budgeting
  • Sales forecasting
  • Implementation of marketing strategies with client in conjunction with the companies marketing team
  • Maintaining the CRM system
  • Presentations and pitches with customers


The Junior National Account Manager - Toys will :

  • Be experienced (3-4 years) within the toy industry or dealing with national retailers and department stores within FMCG/ durables.
  • Passionate about the toy industry
  • Degree educated (or equivalent)
  • Analytical, being able to review data comprehensively and provide solutions
  • Able to demonstrate brand awareness and knowledge of route to market
  • A strong communicator, being able to converse and influence individuals of all levels both inside and outside of the organisation.
  • A keen negotiator, being able to think on their feet and adapt to change
  • Commercially aware, being able to convey information to clients to suit their needs and requirements
  • High achieving, with a proven record of exceeding targets
  • Able to display a demonstrated aptitude for problem-solving
  • Have a hands on approach in their work and be able to be creative to implement new ideas
  • Based in Berkshire
