Business Account Manager – contract role up to December 31st 2017.
Home based with an overnight requirement in Berkshire
Up to £55k plus package or open to day rate option c£350
We are currently recruiting a c7-8 month contract role for a Business Account Manager focusing on Discounters & Impulse customers for a global impulse business. Within this channel they enjoy a massive over trade so it can be assured these customers have a high profile internally Whether you are an experienced contractor or open to taking up a 7-8 month fixed term contract then we would love to discuss this role with you further. Key are individuals with a growth mind-set as this business that has some stretching targets in 2017 and we are not looking for someone to plug a gap!
As you would expect this role offers full P&L responsibility for the joint business plans and be accountable for volume, NSV, Gross Profit and Trade Investments, so we need commercially minded individuals. We are looking for candidates that come with a track-record of success within FMCG account management ideally in a branded environment. You will be operating as a NAM or SNAM within the Convenience, Impulse, Cash & Carry or Wholesale channel with a minimum of three trading cycles behind you and have held large P&L responsibility. Strong negotiation and presentation skills are essential. A genuine flair for building strategic customer relationships and multi-level networking are a must. You will need to have a career to date that shows determination, capability to succeed and an appetite for continued challenges.
In terms of ways of working, it is a home based role and the office is based M4 corridor and you would have a requirement to be in the office once a week with maybe two overnights per month. This would be funded by the business.
