My client are the go-to company for all impulse-buy gifting needs, specialising in personalised and sentiment-based, high-quality ranges for a whole variety of retail outlets, including independents, garden centres and tourist attractions. The company also do a fragrance range, greeting cards and licensed products. All products are manufactured in the UK and the company pride themselves on an autonomous and ethical culture. Due to strong year on year growth figures, my client are in a position to add a National Account Manager to their growing sales team.
As National Account Manager you will inherit a portfolio of retail accounts that you will be expected to grow and develop working towards monthly targets. The role will also include new business development with the company targeting accounts with the grocers, department stores and also some discount stores. The role will suit someone with a vast network of retail contacts across the gifting industry who is commercially astute and has a real passion for new business development and a proven track record in developing an existing account base.
The ideal candidate will already be at National Account Manager Level with experience of dealing with Giftware buyers at head office or at Key Account Manager level with a large network of contacts looking for the next step up. The client will also consider candidates from other closely related product sector such as Homewares.
