Catman Jobs are recruiting a Junior Category Manager for a branded food business in the North West.
The Business
A fast growing brand is currently seeking to build its category function to build a deeper level of understanding of their customers and consumers. Through years of investment in their products and their teams they have achieved a strong position which has enabled them to drive category growth. They are now seeking to appoint a Junior Category Manager capable of development and progression throughout the business.
The Role
The individual will have a remit of providing detailed category insights, assisting on promotional plans and range reviews, and challenging the team to realise new ideas. Showing an understanding of the distinction between customer and consumer insight will be crucial. However, the importance is not merely based on experience. A drive to learn, an attitude to progress, and the ability to acquire skills and knowledge quickly will determine where you go within the business.
