We are looking an ambitious Account Manager for our client in Buckinghamshire.

With over 80 years of history and a turnover in excess of £145m, our client is recognised as an established  supplier of dried fruit, fruit juice concentrates, purees, meat, fish, seeds and pulses to UK food manufacturers and retailers. Due to recent successes and growth they are looking for an ambitious Account Manager to join the drinks business to work with key UK customers and international suppliers.

In this new role the Account Manager will sell industrial fruit juice concentrates, fruit purees and NFC Juices into food & drink manufacturing industry. You will lead the day to day account management with UK customers and international processing partners, negotiating at both ends of the supply chain to successfully win and execute contracts. The role will also spend time leading business development with new customers and processors in the UK and overseas keeping abreast of industry innovations and market dynamics to position the business at the heart of drinks new product development.  

The successful candidate will have at least 18 months of sales management or procurement experience in the food & drink sector and be comfortable negotiating pricing and building new relationships across an international supply chain.  Previous sales or trading experience within the fruit/fruit juices would be an advantage but above all candidates must show the drive, ambition and commercial skill set be successful in this position.
