Farm Shop Business Manager
Competitive salary;
Full time; five days a week over seven days (including weekends, determined by rota)

We are looking to recruit a Farm Shop Business Manager who possesses creative and commercial flair and has a meticulous eye for detail. The Farm Shop Business Manager will have full responsibility of running the Farm Shop and Butchery departments, making sure they both make a significant financial contribution to Castle Howard.
Focusing on driving profit and increasing average transaction value, the use of purchasing and stock data will assist reviewing of sales performance, purchasing decisions and profit contribution in line with taking full responsibility of profit and loss achievements and targets.
Previous retail management is expected, with considerable knowledge of retail management, promotion and marketing methods, merchandise buying procedures and product market values.
Experience of a similar role in tourist, farm shop or retail would be of benefit, as would a genuine passion for food.
