Senior Marketing Manager

The company I am currently working with are a pub group rising to prominence. They have been making great strides lately, expanding their size and focusing on heritage and providence in their pubs. This comes down to sourcing all the food and beer from local farmers and local microbreweries, and they have been recently nominated for awards based on the quality of their food. They currently have a 22 million turnover and with aggressive growth strategies this looks set to rise drastically in the near future. They do not currently have a dedicated marketer and now is the best time to get involved and have your role grow as the company does.

This role will be to work directly with the owners to help drive the marketing strategy as well as implement it. It will cover the full marketing mix, and will mean overhauling parts of the current marketing strategy. This role gives a great opportunity for someone looking to really invest themselves in a role as you will at first be having full control of all marketing functions. Whilst there will be scope to build a team in the future it will need a hands on marketer in the meantime.

The successful candidate will have a background in marketing within the hospitality sector. You will need at least five years’ experience conducting successful marketing campaigns. If you have active experience marketing pubs before that will be an advantage, but any hospitality background will be considered. You need to be an effective communicator as well as you will be liaising with the two owners on a daily basis. If you have the drive to push forward your own marketing strategies and the ability to put them into action this role will be a great fit for you.
