We need an exceptional national account manager, who will immediately take over the running of some fast growing national accounts as well as being responsible for growth of our wholesale and independent channels. They will work with the Head of Sales to develop and hit ambitious sales targets and help bring to life the brand plans in-store.

As well as maintaining an excellent level of customer service and support, they will be expected to bring new accounts to the business, create joint strategic plans for each, and work closely with the Head of Sales and the wider Childs Farm team in executing initiatives and launches.

They will forecast and deliver insight to develop fresh, new strategies to maximise sales and profit within each retailer, increase distribution and drive the growth of the brand with NPD and more availability.

They will capture new business, and will sell in the products, agree terms and engage the retailer in their new business relationship. They will help bring category growth to every customer they work with by consulting on space, shelf positioning, ranging, promotions with an understanding and focus on the unique shopper types in each channel.

They will work closely with the marketing team to work together on creating innovative in-store commercial plans, with supportive marketing to drive growth to exceed targets every quarter.

Through their influence, Childs Farm will be considered THE go to brand on all matters to do with infant sensitive skin and will accordingly be on the shelves of over 60% of the potential retailers who operate within baby & child toiletries in the UK and Ireland by the end of 2017.

The successful candidate will be skilled in the joint arts of sales and marketing, with an ability to take the story of the brand, tell it effectively to the retailer, come up with innovative and fun opportunities and then implement them.

Applicants must have the following skillset and experience

  • Either educated to degree level or equivalent level of work experience
  • Demonstrable experience of generating sales and managing accounts in an FMCG context
  • Exceptional presentation skills both written and verbal
  • Ambitious, personable, passionate about sales
  • Excellent analytical and organisational skills
  • Skilled at winning ‘hearts and minds’ both within a team/company and externally with clients/customers
