Senior Marketing Manager

This is a great opportunity for an innovative Senior Marketing Manager to join an established high performing and knowledgeable marketing team. Managing a team of two, your Marketing team would support the Blood Glucose strategy and a Sales team of around 60 sales people.   
The primary responsibilities will be:

  • To formulate, implement and lead the marketing plan for the Healthcare Professional (prescriber) channel in the area of patient self-monitoring of blood glucose.  
  • Lead, manage and develop the HCP marketing team to be able to deliver on all product management and marketing responsibilities. 
  • To provide the Blood Glucose Specialist field personnel with marketing campaigns and programmes which position Accu-Chek as the partner of choice for formulary inclusion and implementation.
  • To play a leading role in bringing to fruition new business models and revenue streams within the Primary Care sector.

For this position you will bring:

  • Extensive Marketing experience (this does not need to be from within the healthcare industry)
  • Experience of managing a small team including setting and measuring objectives, having career development conversations and setting the team direction and priorities
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • Excellent English skills both verbally and in writing
  • Can demonstrate proactively delivering commercial solutions to improve sales
  • Able to inspire and collaborate with key internal and external stakeholders including presenting at national sales conferences
  • Sound problem solving plus the ability to understand and quickly react and motivate others in a changing environment 
  • Ability to delegate details where necessary, but will follow up on timeliness and quality, and implement lessons for the future. 
  • Strong sense of urgency, you will naturally be able to build relationships and create strong collaborative environments to inspire others into excellent decision making.  
  • Strong results focus but your persuasive style will mean that your leadership will motivate others to focus on results and delivery on our KPI’s
