We have an exciting opportunity for you to join the UK team as a Technical Consultant. You will spend your time in this field-based role on account management and business development for the South East of England.
You will be responsible for creating sales plans for the key customers in fresh produce/commercial horticulture. Using your technical expertise and credibility in this marketplace you will forge relationships and a reputation worthy of this great business. You will give support and advice to your customers and, when appropriate, sell the right solution to the growers and distributors.
We are keen to speak with candidates with enthusiasm, professionalism and experience (and/or qualifications) in entomology and technical sales. Perhaps you have been working in an agronomic role or as an advisor or technical sales consultant with some other product in fresh produce or commercial horticulture. Experience of the soft fruit and/or protected/covered crops would be advantageous, as would a BASIS qualification. If you are a self-starter and can blend technical know-how with sales and account management skills then we want to hear from you.
In this job we will support you with technical back up and product training. Our R&D and sales teams will guide you so that you are equipped with the right tools to offer market leading products and advice to your customers.
