The Company

My client are a growing manufacturer of toys and games who have been established for over 25 years. Since their incorporation they quickly became one of the few businesses in their sector to export to over 60 countries worldwide and translate their products into over 30 languages. With their own in house design team this business invent, design, produce and distribute all of their products which are aimed at providing hours of fun for family and friends.  The business has seen 20% growth YOY for the past 4 years and they hold a strong belief that this can continue; as a result of this they are now looking to add to their team an ambitious and driven National Account xecutive who can help them to further develop their presence in the market.

The Role 

As National Account Executive you will be responsible for managing a selection of Key Accounts such as WHSmiths, Hamleys, Waterstones and Debenhams. You will also support the National Account Managers with some of the larger accounts as well as develop new business. This is a collaborative environment and you will work alongside the marketing, product and design teams to help keep up to date with competitor activities and consumer trends. You will also have responsibility for forecasting and stock, working with the production teams to ensure product is stocked and that bespoke and exclusive lines are ready with all relevant testing and labelling.

The Person

To be considered for this exciting opportunity you will have at least two years’ experience working at an Account Executive level with customers such as Hamleys, Debehams, WHSmith and Waterstones. Knowledge of the toy industry is desirable but not essential, it is more important that you are hungry learn and succeed and have great enthusiasm and drive. You must be able to demonstrate success in developing new business and growing accounts or regional turnover.
