About our Client:

A hands on role working across their private label and branded portfolio, this is a position working as part of the senior leadership team alongside the Sales Director and Commercial Controller.  Working with a team including product development and category management, you will also have a load of interaction with the manufacturing teams.  Following their year on year growth, in 2016 it grew by 14%, bucking the trend in the category, and they are looking to create the same buzz in the business again for 2017. 

About the Role:

The relationship with Morrisons is in a good place but there is always work to be done. With a collaborative team working to deliver strong figures for both businesses, this can be achieved with the right mind set and skills.

With a mixture of private label and branded products, the NPD and variety is fast and you have to be able to move at speed.  There is also a strong seasonal element to the business and a working knowledge of seasonality within product would be useful. 

About You:

Our client is looking for someone who has prior experience of dealing with UK top 4 multiples and has a working knowledge of branded products and the grocery channel.  There is a high level of category focus, whilst creating new and consumer focused NPD.  You need to be super organised, super focused and be able to juggle really well, but this is a really rewarding role where you will be creating and setting strategy with Morrisons.

•             Proven track record of sales achievement in a challenging environment

•             Exceptionally well developed interpersonal skills

•             Excellent communication skills both verbal and written including strong influencing skills

•             Proven ability to negotiate effectively in reactive and flexible situations

•             Ability to devise and implement solutions in order to generate sales

•             Experience in process review and process improvement

•             Strong organisational and planning skills

•             Able to work independently and without close direction
