Role Purpose Statement
The purpose of this role is to offer a service to category teams & other food focus meetings/activity
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities
Goods In/Samples
  • Accept/check deliveries of food & non food products from internal/external sources
  • Co-ordinate samples that are required to be sent to external sites
  • Maintain good organisation of the stock within storage areas
  • Maintain a clean environment of all storage areas
  • Check the condition of pull up stands on their return
  • Day to day cleaning requirements of the kitchens- cleaning of equipment, organise storage areas, washing up, removal of rubbish
  • Working to a daily/weekly cleaning schedule
  • Keep a daily record of fridge/freezer temperatures
  • Count, send, check laundry prior/upon delivery
  • Liaise with ZG & facilities regarding issues of equipment breakdowns/faults/repairs
    Food Panels/Activity
  • Set up rooms for meetings with crockery, cutlery, napkins
  • Replenish coffee stations/water
  • Co-ordinate requirements for board room lunches
  • Co-ordinate all food/non food samples that are required
  • Manage surplus stock
  • Support Chefs/HE’s if required to deliver panels, lunches, activities
  • Responsible for end of meeting clear up
  • Email relevant personnel of deliveries
  • Place competitor orders
  • Stock management of surplus frozen & ambient products
  • Place sample orders for kitchens
  • Collect competitor orders
Knowledge, Skills, Experience
  • Previous experience within a food environment
  • NVQ Catering & Hospitality level 1 & 2 an advantage
  • Can do attitude, desire to help & support wider teams
  • Team Player
  • Work on own initiative
  • Basic computer skills, understanding of outlook & excel
  • Communication skills with food team & wider teams
  • Basic food hygiene certificate
  • Driving license
