One of the UK’s leading premium branded snacking businesses have created a new opportunity for a Business Development Manager to drive and further develop their presence within the Foodservice channel. The business has a glowing reputation across the industry and their portfolio boasts a number of instantly recognised products. Following strong growth of the overall category the business has achieved national distribution across the Retail, Wholesale and Foodservice channels. Following increasing demand for their products, the business has created a Business Development Manager role to support the growth of the brand.


As Business Development Manager you will take direct responsibility for an existing account portfolio which consists of both National and Regional Foodservice accounts within the North of England. Customers within the portfolio include; hotels, restaurants, Foodservice Distributors, airline and snacking distributors. In addition to maintaining and developing the existing business you will be tasked with identifying new customers and developing trading relationships. You will report directly into the Sales Director so can expect a great degree of autonomy to make commercial decisions.


The successful candidate for this position will be a self-motivated sales professional with a track record of developing business within the Foodservice arena, ideally with experience of selling into both National and Regional Foodservice customers in a field based capacity. It is essential that you have worked with branded food products and can have an appreciation for premium foods. My client is looking for an honest and driven individual who can make a difference in developing the brand.
