National Account Manager – Health Brands | Top 4 Experience Preferred | Health Food Chain Exposure
Paul Nyman Consultancy are recruiting a NAM for a food sales, marketing and distribution business responsible for some of the latest trend-setting vegan offerings in the food market.
The business is one which has seen breakthrough growth in recent years and is looking to scale the heights of the health food market from the respectable footing they have established for themselves.
Working closely with leading retailers, health food chains, high street, discount and off-trade channels, they have a growing portfolio of branded food and drink products, and are now looking to bring on board a National Account Manager because of their rapid expansion in the market.
You will be looking after the top account in the business, a well-known high street name, in addition to a number of other national accounts, and will also be focussing on export opportunities. Home based, with regular client meetings, possible international travel, and meeting with your colleagues in the commercial arm of the business, you will be driving growth in your accounts through a mixture of incremental gains, new listing wins, increased turnover, NPD involvement, and promotional activity.
Your relationship development and retention will be key to your success, and you will be JBP and P&L accountable, so a keen mathematical mind and excellent communication are essential. Due to the branded nature of the product, you will ideally be coming from a branded or blue-chip background, and will be on the upward curve, with perhaps 3-5 years’ experience in National Accounts on top grocers. If you have exposure to the main account customer, then your application will receive special interest. You will ideally be of graduate calibre, and will have a track record of achieving above and beyond what has hitherto been required of you.
