National Account Manager: Discounters | Large Food Group | Team Player mentality
This company is based in the Home Counties but has a UK-wide appeal; their products being some of the most loved and respected brands in the country. As a result of their forward-thinking approach to the market and their desire to meet the consumer’s needs wherever they appear, they are now seeking a strong commercial individual to manage some of their accounts in a channel that is growing at considerable pace.
This position will be one filled with challenge. Whether interacting with internal colleagues in a collaborative manner to manage challenges in the account, or presenting JBP propositions externally, there will always be an expectation that you will be a capable individual and a team player. Strong P&L responsibility is a must, and experience working with the discounters will be noted preferentially.
You will have experience within the FMCG market and a knowledge of the discounter channels. Previous ambient experience would be a bonus but is not essential; most important is your ability to fit in with business’ hard working, team culture putting the success of the business at the heart of everything you do. The ability to “buy into” your product base and wholeheartedly endorse it to customers will be a key asset to help you succeed within the role.
