Space Analyst - Retail

Your new role
As a Macro Space Analyst, you will form an important part of the Space Planning team. You will work closely with colleagues in the Buying and Store Formats team to be responsible for the design, layout and usage of space within their portfolio of stores. You will become the expert in advising the business how best to utilise space to ensure a customer-centric store layout, which will be driven by your ability to interpret sales data to make recommendations that enhance the customers shopping experience. You will analyse complex data which in turn you will be able to use to make recommendations that will ultimately result in increased sales for the business.

What you'll need to succeed
Ideally you will have experience within a retail head office environment, where you will have had exposure to a commercial function, or have been involved in database administration or reporting and analysing data. You will possess excellent IT skills, with high levels of analytical and numerical abilities and it would be ideal if you have used a space planning software package such as JDA, Apollo, Spaceman or a more generic package such as AutoCAD or Revit. Either way, you will have flexible approach to the working environment and able to communicate, influence and build relationships at all levels.
