About our Client: 

Our client is a young, fun, independently owned microbrewery in London and has been extremely successful since opening their doors in 2014. With a newly purchased site in East London and a year of great expansion planned, it's a very exciting time for them. With a selection of craft beers brewed at their site they are all about their reputation for no-nonsense, uncompromising beer.  

Culturally they are young, entrepreneurial and straight to the point. There's plenty of support available from the Founders and you'll never feel like you're on your own - but a lot of hard work and grafting will be needed! 


About the Role: 

You'll be working as a Field Sales Executive/Craft Beer Ambassador across the on-trade and wholesale channels and reporting directly to the founder of the brewery. This will be a 90/10 split between new business and account management. You will be covering the London area, setting up meetings, tasting sessions and taking part in sponsored events that have been organised by the brewery. On top of this you will gain great experience in the regional and national wholesale channels where you will be speaking to buyers and regional directors at head office level. This is a great opportunity for you to learn and gain experience across two channels which will propel your commercial skill set. 

Main duties include:

  • One day a week for admin in the office.
  • Planning of week and setting up meetings, tasting sessions and being at sponsored events.
  • Going to independent pubs predominantly in East London and introducing the selection to the decision makers.
  • Working with regional and national wholesalers at head office level.


About You: 

You'll be tenacious, resilient and have a genuine interest in moving into craft beer. You will have a hunger to learn the trade and be willing to go that extra mile to book that extra meeting or take that late phone call. A minimum of one year's field sales, internal sales or account management experience in any industry is required and any craft beer experience would be distinctly advantageous. 

This is a genuine opportunity for you to learn an industry working across two channels and working at head office level with regional and national wholesalers where you will gain masses of experience talking to buyers. The skill set you will learn will make you commercially more astute and no be a run of the mill craft beer ambassador.
