The Role: The new Key Account Manager will be managing a range of large independent retail customers as well as a major high street retailer and one of the grocery multiples. You will hold full P&L responsibility, take control of the business plan as well as building and designing your own JBPs and liaise with business owners and buyers. Realistic prospects to move into a National Account Manager role are strong.
The Company: This company has over a century of tradition behind them and is part of a global organisation with a sales turnover in excess of $15 billion, hence their ability to provide outstanding training and ongoing sales career opportunities. This division manufactures coating products and accessories for use in the decorating sector, with some very strong brand names in their product portfolio. Now looking to recruit a new Key Account Manager to expand their sales team.
For this Key Account Manager position, we are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
  • Field sales track record
  • You will have a good understanding of how retailers operate
  • Experience of developing business plans with buyers and the ability to lead discovery meetings
  • You will be driven and ambitious with excellent analytical skills
