National Account Manager - Delivered Wholesale Sector

C£40K +bonus and car allowance.

Are you looking to develop your National Account experience with an instantly recognised brand? Perhaps you are looking for a career move within this sector with a direct report to the Head of Sales and Marketing but with the support of an experienced NAM - High St Multiples. You will be responsible for developing sales in a growing account area of the company’s business at both Head Office and regional level. The role is to build and develop relationships with all delivered wholesale customers with a brand already well known to them. Using sophisticated market insight resources within the company, you will create annual sales plans and a promotional calendar to build category credibility and inclusion. The ultimate aim is a profitable partnership between Eat Natural and key customers in the sector.

Key responsibilities:

  • To grow sales of the entire product range with all the major delivered wholesalers at head office and regional levels. Clients will encompass companies such as Palmer & Harvey, MRH, Nisa, Spar,Snacks Direct, Costco and Booker.
  • To establish the role as the key point of contact with senior buyers and category managers in those accounts.
  • To create agreed annual sales plans for each account and achieve those sales
  • To create a promotional package to increase awareness and interest in the range.
  • To work closely with all members of the marketing team to achieve set goals.
  • To welcome the close support of a highly experienced NAM- High Street Multiples, learning and taking advice but focussing on your customers

Qualifications and Skills:

  • A degree level of education followed by formal training in sales and account management for well known packaged food or non food FMCG companies dealing with first or second tier delivered wholesale accounts.
  • A strong, proven track record of category growth in terms of turnover, range extension and profit.
  • A record of new business wins in delivered wholesale.
  • A desire to ‘hunt’ new accounts as well as ‘farm’ existing ones.
  • A strong commercial awareness.
  • Good IT skills, including MS Office, Powerpoint and Excel
  • The presence to inspire the attention of hard-nosed buyers and the cooperation of internal teams in sales, marketing, operations and production.
