National Account Manager
An exciting role has arisen for a National Account Manager looking after the Tesco account with a market leading consumer goods client. We are looking for a very driven, ambitious and career minded candidate to take up this role, with someone who can demonstrate excellent results so far in their career and coming from a national accounts background.
My client is a market leading consumer goods business based in the south of the country. They specialise in the gifting and accessories market.
The National Account Manager will be responsible for the development of my clients product portfolio within the UK National Retail channel. Their primary focus and responsibility is to deliver the brand and commercial objectives within the Tesco account and across the other brand brokered accounts. Managing the brand and client portfolio with Tesco is a critical element in delivering the commercial objectives across the retailer. The National Account Manager will lead all elements of the relationship, which put a key focus on the category opportunities and liaise externally and internally to make sure that the delivery to the account and commercial objectives are all met. The successful candidate will need to be based in the South East England location for ease to and from the office albeit it is not a purely office based role.
The successful candidate might be in a NAM role at the moment or be an up and coming NAE or key account manager who is looking the next step in their career. We are not only considering Tesco experience for the role but a track record with national accounts is required, where you can demonstrate some excellent results to date but still be now looking for the next challenge. The successful candidate will be one who is creative, intelligent, hungry to succeed and someone that is constantly looking to find ways to develop the relationship and further profit.
£40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience + company car (no allowance) + bonus + benefits
